I am Peter Homoki-Farkas, I received my first attunement in Reiki I. from my master Peter Kövesi in 1993, and teach since 2006, the original traditional Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho system.During the Reiki II. seminar there was a thought that once I would like to work with it in a deeper level. I was touched by the energetic system of Reiki and I thought I will "feel" it, when the time comes. I knew that I was not ready yet and I have to learn a lot.
It has long been employed in the question-why are we in this world. I grew up in a housing estate, I wanted to get rid of the closeness, watching the flickering lights from the windows of the housing estate and I could not accept that life is "only so much" - go to work, and then a second job to make more money, go home, puzzled at the family, put the kids in the bed, watch TV and the next day starts all over again. Each apartment looked like an isolated stand-alone "black box". That would be the happiness?
As a child of the divorced parents there was still missing something, I was looking for something else, until I found the ancient proverb "Gnothi Seauton" Get to know yourself.
I always was sensitive to the different kinds of energy and I had an opportunity to learn radiestasy from Lajos Szöke.
I have learned the Yumeiho massage technique later on. As member and organisator of the Hungarian Transpersonal Association I have participated on different types of workshops dealing with the subconscioussness, ego and shadow self of mine held by Hungarian and Dutch therapist. I am working with Gestallt therapy, family constellation, rebirth training increasingly seeking the balance between the material and the spiritual world.
Thank you to my wife to get knowledge about the Camino, the pilgrim way of St. James. It was a great experience to get to know myself and to become together as one with the rocks, flowers, animals and human beings including the Earth and Universe. When I arrived on 26 July, 2006 to Compostella, behind the statue of St. James, I knew my journey is only just the beginning ....
I emphasize in Reiki the the necessity of self-knowledge and the importance of the practice and the rest is how to channel the energy and find out who you are and what is your talent. As a result be happy when your mental and physical health are improved and experiencing the joy in your life.
With Reiki you are able to balance your body- mind - spirit and you need only your hands. It is simple and great method, is not it?
