Jikiden Reiki is an original, Japanese Reiki, which is directly passed down through Dr. Chujiro Hayashi - Mikao Usui lineage and did not influenced by the western culture. Chiyoko Yamaguchi (1921-2003) and her family has learnt Reiki directly from Dr. Hayashi sensei in the late 1930's. Chiyoko and her son Tadao countinously have been practiced it, preserving the original technics and spirituality.
