My name is Gabor Szabo. I met with Reiki 10 years ago, when I had been searching a method which could be helpful for my many years of serious illness of my allergies and asthma. Due to the daily using of Reiki, the yoga exercises and lifestyle changes, about half a year I was completely recovered. This success motivated me to continue to train myself in the western Reiki system and I started to use Reiki not only on myself but on other others too. In 2007, I began to inquire about the roots of Reiki. That time several information became available like Japanese techniques - which was not known in the western Reiki before - but many question remained in myself about the true story of the Reiki and its spiritual background.
In July, 2009. I attended at the Japanese Jikiden Reiki Institute's training in Budapest, where not only my questions was answered, but I enriched several practical experience too. The practice of Jikiden Reiki launched several changes in me:
- I got a real review of Reiki and its background
- My Reiki treatment became more efficient because of using previously unknown original techniques
- I realized that Reiki is a very easy and fast learning method, which can be mastered by anyone and use on own self or others.
- The practice of Jikiden Reiki showed me that however Reiki is a very simple method, it is very effective and it is not necessary those hard constraints, multitude of techniques which I thought from Reiki.
- I understood the significance fact of the Jikiden Reiki that it is shown the Reiki in that original way and in high quality. So I decided that I would not only practice but I am going to teach this kind of original Japanese Reiki.
In December, 2010 I have accomplished the requirements of shihan-kaku (teacher-assistant) degree and I got a licence to teach the 1st level of Jikiden Reiki. My Reiki lineage is:
